Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell delayed a vote to repeal and replace Obamacare scheduled for early next week after Sen.

U.S. Senator John McCain had surgery yesterday to remove a blood clot and will not be in Washington D.C. next week to vote on any health care measures, his office said today.

His office said the clot was discovered during an annual physical and removed Friday at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix.

Now that Republicans will delay a vote on their health care bill until Arizona Sen.

The minimally invasive surgery at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix was a success and went "very well", the Mayo Clinic said. McCain has not revealed how he plans to vote on the bill but has expressed concerns about it in its current form, particularly in regard to how it was written: by McConnell, behind closed doors. As the leader of the Senate, McConnell also revealed that the Senate would "defer consideration of the Better Care Act" until McCain returned from recovery.

Collins is one of two Republican senators who have already said that they would not even vote to open debate on the latest version of the bill released on Thursday, meaning one more defection from the Republican ranks could kill it.

"As far as I can tell, the new bill is the same as the old bill", Paul said during a conference call with reporters July 12.

The news about McCain came a few hours after President Trump had used his Saturday radio address to again put public pressure on reluctant GOP Senators to support the Republican health care bill.

Swedish MPs file lawsuit against Turkey's Erdogan accusing him of genocide
Their detention raised alarm internationally, increasing fears that freedom of expression was being suppressed under Erdogan. According to him, the Turks "do not want the EU" and I believe that the European Union's unfair attitude towards Turkey.

"It could lead to insurance plans that really are barely insurance at all".

Democrats and most of the country's major medical groups and insurers are strenuously against the bill. John McCain recovers from successful surgery for a blood clot. "It has produced premium increases that are very troubling and hard for people to afford, particularly those who don't get the subsidies under the current law", she said.

Paul criticized the Republican bill for keeping the same "fundamental flaw" that he said has caused premiums to surge under the Affordable Care Act. If he loses even one more Senator, then it won't matter if McCain is there or not, but with McCain out of town and apparently a "yes" vote for the revised bill, proceeding without him would be fatal for the bill. He is recovering at home in Arizona. He is in good spirits and recovering comfortably at home with his family.
