As you may guess from the name, Google feed is a lot like Facebook's trademark news feed, the place where many millions of the social network's users get the latest updates from their friends and about the world at large.

The feed initially launched in December, but Google says it has since advanced its machine learning algorithms to better anticipate what's interesting and important to each user.

Machine learning is a pretty big draw, but obviously, it's not going to be able to gauge your interests and disinterests accurately 100% of the time, especially at first.

And Google understands that your interests wax and wane over time, so if you stop searching for something the algorithm allows that topic to atrophy in your feed. Thankfully, for Google, they are still away from the public out lash. You can also tap on a header to exit the feed and search as usual. That feature has helped Facebook capture online attention like few other companies.
