Sri Lanka Navy rescues another two elephants swept out to sea Sun, Jul 23, 2017, 07:02 pm SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.

Sailors were filmed earlier this month helping a lone elephant find its way back to sure after drifting around 15 kilometres from the shore.

Westworld Season 2: First Trailer shows robots' retaliation!
Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacas casually dropped the titles of the new eps on Twitter last month, and they sound creepy as HELL. Joining the cast for season 2 are Dacre Montgomery as Billy, Sadie Sink as Max and Paul Reiser as Dr.

According to a statement released on the Sri Lankan Navy's website, one of the patrol vessels spotted two drowning elephants off the coast of Trincomalee. The elephant had apparently washed into the mid-sea after being caught in the sea currents. The eastern command of the navy deployed its vessels and crew to rope the elephant taking it to the safety of the shore. The animals were later released into the forests near Foul Point in Trincomalee district.

The rescue mission unfolded between Sri Lanka's Round Island and Foul Point, just moments after an inshore patrol craft spotted the struggling elephants during their routine patrol of the area.

And though they didn't give too much away, they did provide some interesting insight into where their characters are going next. That's right: Kristian Nairn as Hodor was the "maester" of ceremonies, serving as the panel's special guest host.

This incident was not the first rescue operation by Sri Lankan Navy to save drowning animals.

Images of the rescue efforts shared by the Navy showed the two elephants keeping their trunks above water as they tried to stay afloat. Upon being alerted the Department of Wildlife in Trincomalee, a combined rescue mission was launched by the Navy and Wildlife officials to save these 2 wild elephants.
