  • Couple who accused wedding photographer of holding their photos hostage in feud over $125 fee must now pay her ...

Newly married couple Andrew and Neely Moldovan were so pissed at a wedding photographer Andrea Polito over a $125 fee that they made a decision to ruin her career, launching an online campaign against her business.

A U.S. couple who waged an online campaign against their wedding photographer have been ordered to pay her more than $1.2m in damages.

Andrew and Neely Moldovan, who got married in 2014 in Dallas, Texas, refused to pay the additional fee for an album cover, saying they had already given Andrea Polito $6,000 (£4,530).

"The focus of the dispute was the couple's objection to the contract's stipulation for selecting a $125 photo album cover before the images of the rehearsal dinner and wedding were provided", the release said.

You Need Special Glasses If You Want To See The Eclipse
Photographer and retired Western Carolina University professor Roger Bacon will lead an informational session at 3 p.m. But there are some cool phenomena associated with the partial eclipse such as Sun Dapples, Sunspot trickery and more.

Among their assertions were claims that Polito was "holding their pictures hostage" and that she "blatantly stole money while holding pictures ransom and then adding on extra fees", according to the lawsuit.

"I was paying cash everywhere because I didn't want people to see my name on my credit card", Polito said. The Daily Mail reported that after several weeks of back-and-forth, Polito told the couple she'd waive the fee, but the damage had been done. "It's a book." The couple said they were told that unless the fee was paid by February 18 they'd have to "forfeit" the album, which would be archived and gotten back for another $250 dollars.

In an open letter that was posted on Andrea Polito Photography website, Polito explained that she and her group tried to straighten things and make them right when the disagreement with the Moldovans arose.

She told Dallas News that her 13-year-old business was ruined nearly overnight. "I've shot several Dallas elites".

Red Sox get Addison Reed from Mets
AJ Ramos will serve as the Mets closer for the remainder of the 2017 season, according to MLB.com's Anthony DiComo . Later, Ken Rosenthal confirmed the deal was done, with the Red Sox sending three prospects to NY in return for Reed.

Meanwhile, following the NBC 5 interview, People flooded Polito's review pages with criticism. Typically her company would book 75 to 100 weddings, but that year it only booked two.

Reacted to the verdict, Polito said, 'I'm emotionally exhausted. "It's been a fight for myself to get my reputation back", Polito said. "It was done. The negative reviews destroyed her reputation, and in a business that is largely word-of-mouth, no one was referring her". The campaign included the couple taking their complaint to Dallas news stations.

The Moldovans didn't immediately return messages seeking comment.

A jury took a few hours to find the couple liable for defamation, disparagement and civil conspiracy, thereby awarding Polito $1.08m. "You know, it was my passion and I loved my clients and I loved what I did".
