Special counsel Robert Mueller has asked the White House for documents related to former national security adviser Michael Flynn's business dealings, according to people familiar with Mueller's investigation.

Flynn's former lobbying firm, the Flynn Intel Group, was paid $530,000 to represent a Turkish businessman Ekim Alptekin but the contract ended in mid-Novermber 2016 because that time Flynn was announced as President Donald Trump's first national security adviser.

Investigators have also begun questioning witnesses about possible secret payments Flynn received from the Turkish government during the final months of the 2016 campaign, according to the Times.

Another individual who may find his involvement with England end with the series, temporarily at least, is Keaton Jennings . Broad had earlier claimed the final wicket of South Africa's first innings.

Investigators also want to determine whether Flynn paid a Turkish businessman to help hide the source of the payments, which amounted to $530,000.

The Pentagon launched an investigation that will scrutinise Mr Flynn's financial arrangements to determine whether he has failed to disclose payments from Russian and Turkish lobbyists.

They have sought related documents from the White House and have asked related information from witnesses during interviews, a significant development in the Russian Federation investigation.

Despite his mandate to look into allegations of President Donald Trump's collusion with Russian Federation, the counsel has lately been focusing on possible financial crimes of the president's team.

Neither has the White House or Flynn's attorney responded to the recent reports on Mueller's investigations but one of Trump's attorneys said, "We've said before we're collaborating with the special counsel on an ongoing basis".

The President has threatened Mueller in an attempt at keeping the probe confined to the election.
