North Korea has developed a hydrogen bomb which can be loaded into the country's new intercontinental ballistic missile, the official Korean Central News Agency claimed on September 3.

North Korea said it had tested an advanced hydrogen bomb for a long-rang missile Sunday, setting off a manmade natural disaster near the North's test, which Japanese and South Korean officials said was around 10 times more powerful than the tremor picked up after its last nuclear test a year ago.

Hydrogen bombs or H-bombs-also known as thermonuclear devices-are far more powerful than the relatively simple atomic weapons the North was believed to have tested so far.

Washington D.C: United States President Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and agreed to have close cooperation between their countries to put pressure on North Korea over its nuclear and ballistic missile program, the White House has announced. The test reportedly caused a 6.3 magnitude tremor.

Mr Trump tweeted that North Korea "has become a great threat and embarrassment to China, which is trying to help but with little success".

And Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary, Yoshihide Suga, also condemned the test and said sanctions against North Korea should include restrictions on the trade of oil products.

What he called South Korea's "talk of appeasement" would not work as "they (the North Koreans) only understand one thing!"

North Korea itself has long said it is open to dialogue, but will not abandon its nuclear aspirations unless the United States abandons what Pyongyang considers a "hostile policy" against it.

March 7, 2017: United States begins deploying THAAD missile defence system in South Korea. The ministry urged North Korea to respect U.N. Security Council resolutions, Reuters reported.

The North's 2016 test, when it claimed to have carried out a fusion reaction, was largely dismissed by global observers because of the relatively small size of the seismic wave.

State news anchor Ri Chun Hee hailed the test as a "perfect success" and the final step in attaining a "state nuclear force", which North Korea sees as crucial in order deter any adversaries from invasion or attempting regime change. The United Nations Security Council has unanimously voted to tighten sanctions that targeted about a third of North Korea's $3 billion in exports.

North Korea is thought to have a growing arsenal of nuclear bombs and has spent decades trying to ideal a multistage, long-range missile to eventually carry smaller versions of those bombs.

July 8, 2016: US and South Korea announce plans to deploy an advanced missile defence system - THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense).

Aside from the factuality of the North's claim, the language in its statement seems a strong signal that Pyongyang will soon conduct its sixth nuclear weapon test, which is crucial if North Korean scientists are to fulfil the national goal of an arsenal of viable nuclear ICBMs that can reach the U.S. mainland.

The Jets have been trying to trade Richardson, a 2014 Pro Bowl selection, for a while and almost did so at the draft this year. The team already had Pro Bowlers Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril , along with talented 2015 second-round pick Frank Clark.

The apparent test came just hours after North Korea claimed that its leader has inspected the loading of a hydrogen bomb into a new intercontinental ballistic missile.

North Korea has stated it is, at least in part, responding to Washington's decision to hold the exercises, which ended last week.

North Korea's sixth nuclear test - probably its largest so far - sends out one clear political signal.

If confirmed, it would be North Korea's sixth nuclear test since 2006.

The photos created a stir among missile and nuclear weapons experts on Twitter, with the general consensus being that the design appeared to look about right for a sophisticated thermonuclear warhead.

China is by far the North's biggest trading partner.

If the ball is in China's court on cutting oil, it may demand more willingness from the USA to come to the negotiating table with North Korea.
