The Pixel 2 launch is coming up very soon but that does not stop the leaks from coming out as recently there is new information that surfaced which tells us that the new phones will have a stereo speakers and always listening Music Recognition.

As we already have reported, Google is getting ready to launch the forthcoming powerful premium devices in Pixel series, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, on October 4th.

The Music Recognition feature is separate from the Google Assistant but we're guessing the latter will have something similar someday or at least integrate the feature.

Google's new smartphones will most likely feature a wireless charging technology, which is based on the fact that the search engine giant has just been linked to the Wireless Power Consortium.

Plus, we would be able to see a new portrait mode in Google Pixel 2 XL smartphone, as per the new feature thread found on Google Camera app.

First up is the new "Portrait Mode" on the Google Pixel 2. But one rumor was confirmed by Android Police: The smartphones will have rounded corners and minimal bezels, allowing for much larger screens than those on last year's Pixel and Pixel XL; they'll also look similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, just without the curved edges on the displays.

The Super Mario Run Update Might Bring it Back to Life
This new world consists of 9 new levels, featuring tons of new enemies, more gameplay mechanics and so many more coins to collect. Even though it appears that Super Mario Run hasn't risen to Nintendo's expectations, they won't give up mobile gaming.

Smartphones will get a single camera and stereo speakers. There will also be an Always-On Ambient Light Display, which is now a part of AOSP root package for Android Oreo and can be enabled on the devices running it.

There are bound to be plenty of other features announced at the event, but those are some of the biggest things we know as of now. This would be a feature that you can disable but is to your liking. This is said to be available straight from the Google Camera app that's on the Pixel 2 smartphones.

While the previous leaks have also pointed out about the tentative pricing of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, these new insights give more details about these devices.
