  • Marilou Danley, Mandalay Bay person of interest, 'proud mom & grandma'

The Las Vegas gunman's girlfriend, Marilou Danley, arrived at Los Angeles International Airport Tuesday night to answer serious questions regarding what she knew about Stephen Paddock's deadly massacre. Earlier reports said that Danley was expected to return to US soil on Wednesday.

Danley's sisters told Seven News that she was wired $127,000.

After the attack, authorities in the United States, the Philippines and Australia joined efforts to search for Danley, hoping she might shed some light on the motive behind the deadliest mass shooting in modern USA history.

The Australia-based sisters of Danley say they believe Paddock sent her away so she wouldn't interfere with his plans to go on a shooting rampage.

"She was even shocked than us because she is more closer to him than us [sic]".

No one, except Marilou, because Steve is not here to talk anymore.

Senate Intel Committee on Russia: "Issue of collusion is still open"
Burr said the Russians had been "pretty darn successful" in fomenting chaos in the USA political system. But content of the 3,000 Facebook adverts linked to Russian Federation will not be publicly released.

The family said that they have been receiving death threats due to their connection to Marilou.

The family said Marilou was a "wonderful" person and described her as kind and giving, adding that they hadn't heard from her.

Police initially sought out Danley following the shooting, but then ruled her out as a person of interest in the case after they discovered she was out of the country.

Mendoza, who is the supervisor at the Starbucks, told the Los Angeles Times on Tuesday that the abuse "happened a lot".

Danley returned to the United States from the Philippines on Tuesday night, according to USA press reports, and was met by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation at Los Angeles airport. "Our family doesn't know Stephen Paddock, and has no knowledge of Marilou's relationship with Mr. Paddock".

The woman said Danley is "a good person" who would've stopped Paddock had she been there.

Reynaldo Bustos, her brother, told ABC News that he spoke to his sister following the shooting.

Interviewed with her face blurred so she could remain anonymous, one of Danley's sisters told Australia's 7 News she believed Paddock had deliberately sent her away. It said investigators were trying to trace the money and were probing at least a dozen financial reports over the past several weeks that said Paddock gambled more than $10,000 per day.

"We've completed our investigation at the properties, three separate locations in Mesquite and Reno, at the hotel and the suspect's vehicle", he said.

It is not yet clear when Marilou, an Australian national, left the U.S., but she flew from Hong Kong to Manila on September 25.

She said the house has been empty since.

Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock had a habit of gambling. Another friend of the man said that man had been in contact with Marilou Danley in recent days.
