  • Trump plans to meet Putin on Asia tour to create UNITED FRONT against North Korea

In a display of golf diplomacy, Trump is to play a round of golf with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Trump visit to the Asia comes at a crucial time, as he is under huge pressure at home with special counsel Robert Mueller's ongoing Russian Federation probe.

President Donald Trump warned today that "no dictator" should underestimate the U.S., as he launched an Asia tour that will be dominated by the North Korea nuclear crisis.

The low- key start was a prelude to the formal talks planned in Tokyo Monday.

AJ Green, Jalen Ramsey ejected for fighting in Bengals-Jags game
Green and Ramsey were both ejected from the game, and Green is likely facing a multiple game suspension. Green got up, grabbed Ramsey around the neck, slammed him to the ground and delivered numerous punches.

President Donald Trump's first trip to Asia began with a round of golf, a custom cap and a hamburger of American beef.

"For nearly 60 years, the military alliance we see on this base has endured a cornerstone of sovereignty, security and prosperity for our nations, this region and indeed, the entire world", Trump told the audience.

"The relationship is really extraordinary". But, "there's no single place I'd rather begin my trip than right here with all with you, the incredible men and women of the United States military [and] your fantastic partners, the [Air Defense Command of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force]", Trump said. He said that the two leaders were able to talk frankly in a relaxed atmosphere while out on the course. "We like each other and our countries like each other", Mr Trump said before dinner with Mr Abe, who for this meal did show Mr Trump traditional cuisine with teppanyaki. He said they were able to "carry out in depth discussion, at times touching on various hard issues". Abe was behind the wheel of a golf cart as the two men were spotted moving from hole to hole, Trump in the passenger seat smiling and waving at those they passed.

"Well, we want to get it solved", Trump told reporters of the standoff with North Korea over its nuclear program.

On the first leg of his five-nation trip, Trump addressed servicemen and women at the Yokota airbase and made some strong remarks aimed at North Korea - including a thinly veiled warning targeting North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.

Joined by his wife Melania on part of the trip, Trump's tour of Asia is the longest by an American president since George H.W. Bush in 1992.

"No one, no dictator, no regime ... should underestimate American resolve", the commander-in-chief told the cheering attendees.

"The president will use whatever language he wants to use, obviously", McMaster said.

Broadcom reportedly mulling $100B takeover of Qualcomm
Update: Bloomberg's sources say Broadcom could offer Qualcomm about $70 per share in cash and stock within the next few days. A subsequent report in the Wall Street Journal said the bid could come as early as this weekend.

The president has called the investigation "very distracting". During his campaign, Trump suggested Japan should acquire its own nuclear weapons to defend itself, hinted the USA might not come to the nation's defense, and accused Japan of "killing us" on trade.
