The tech giant has landed a new show starring actresses Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon that will deal with the drama that goes into making morning television happen.

The series does not have a title or any finished scripts yet, but Apple has already placed a two-season straight-to-series order that will encompass 20 episodes after a bidding war between multiple outlets, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Firstly, bonus support items will follow the game's release in December this year, before a new quest arrives in January 2018 . Well ahead of Xenoblade Chronicles 2's early December launch date, the DLC should be available to all on November 9, 2017.

The pair will executive-produce and star in the show loosely based on Brian Stelter's 2013 book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV. Media Res, Aniston and Witherspoon are the principle owners of the show. Producer and host? - but Apple is confident enough to order two 10-episode series right out of the gate, signalling its intent to compete with the likes of Netflix and Amazon.

The series will be a drama set in the world of a network morning show. Sources describe the pricetag on the show as comparable to other premium fare with big stars attached.

Broadcom Offers to Acquire Qualcomm for $103 Billion
Apple, as a key customer, could play a key role. "It would value Qualcomm's equity at roughly $103bn". The bid comes as Broadcom plans to move its headquarters to the United States from Singapore.

This will mark Aniston's first return to a regular series role since "Friends" signed off on NBC back in 2004.

Emmy-nominated Jay Carson ("House of Cards") will write, executive produce and serve as showrunner for the series, which does not have a launch date. (A second installment is in the works.) The series also reunites the duo after Witherspoon's guest star turn as Aniston's sister on Friends. It's unclear if Apple will make the shows available by iTunes or another platform, and whether access will be based on a subscription or advertising-based model. In addition to Spielberg and Fuller, Amazing Stories is executive produced by Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey and Hart Hanson; and produced by Universal Television and Amblin Television. Stelter is serving as a consultant.
