The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley are expected to serve 20 days of house arrest in their Hangzhou Hyatt Regency for allegedly stealing sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store.

Lonzo Ball says he has not spoken with his younger brother LiAngelo since he and two other UCLA basketball players were reportedly involved in a shoplifting incident in China.

The Associated Press noted Wednesday that UCLA head coach Steve Alford said the players involved won't feature in the game against the Yellow Jackets, but he couldn't provide any additional details about their status.

The championship and consolation games are the next day. This marks the third consecutive year that a team from the Pac-12 Conference, to which UCLA belongs, will play a regular season game on Chinese soil.

"We are aware of a situation involving UCLA student-athletes in Hangzhou, China", UCLA said in a statement Tuesday.

Chinese officials wouldn't confirm the ESPN report that Ball, Riley and Hill were arrested.

Currently, the players are not confined to the hotel. "Whether in the United States or overseas, we expect our student-athletes to uphold the highest standards". The freshman were suspected for shoplifting from a Louis Vuitton near the hotel that the team is staying in.

Ball, the younger brother of National Basketball Association rookie Lonzo Ball of the Los Angeles Lakers, declined to comment when reached by phone at his hotel on Wednesday.

Suns deal Bledsoe to Bucks for Monroe, 2 picks
Bledsoe's trade is timely since the Bucks are in a slump, losing their last three games to drop to 4-5 on the season. Bledsoe has been away from the Suns for disciplinary reasons but Milwaukee had no issue with bringing him on board.

The fact that LiAngelo is part of the new first family of basketball has added attention to the case. "He'll be fine. Everybody making it a big deal; it ain't that big of a deal".

"I know they are all over there in China taking care of it, so I will talk to them when they get back", Ball said.

LiAngelo Ball is a younger brother of former UCLA star Lonzo Ball, now a rookie with the Los Angeles Lakers. "It ain't that big of a deal".
