There is no word as of yet regarding when PowerPass will return or what changes might be in place based on the "program limitations" that GameStop encountered.

For $60, customers could take home one used game at a time and keep it for up to six months. At the end of the six months, you can choose one game to keep.

"For those guests who have already purchased the service, we will allow them to bring the pass, and video game they have checked-out, back to receive a full refund".

Google Starts Shipping Initial Orders Of Pixel Buds
According to Android Police , the issue seems to be the cause of an over-aggressive accidental touch protection system. Google's flagship Pixel 2 smartphone has been involved in its fair share of problems and controversy.

However, GameStop has since instructed store employees to remove all signage relating to the program, which has drawn considerable interest from the gaming community. However, merely days before the service's launch, GameStop has reportedly chose to pause the launch of the unlimited used game rental service. "We feel this is the right thing to do for now to ensure we are able to provide our guests an exceptional service".

The plan wasn't fully scraped, per those sources, as they were supposed to store the materials in the back room, indicating they would be put to use in the future.

Kotaku, which first reported the news, heard from store employees that GameStop's computers were not capable of processing the data required for PowerPass. At $60 for six months, it seems nearly like a steal considering that you get to keep a game to add to your collection. Now it's just a question of whether GameStop will upgrade its system, alter PowerPass to work with it, or just scrap the game-lending service entirely.

South Korea was keeping its "full combat readiness against North Korea's possibility provocations", its military said Monday. The post came in response to the country's foreign ministry calling Trump "an old lunatic" over his speech in South Korea.

As Game Rant first reported, the service, dubbed PowerPass, is slated to launch on November 19 and will cost $60 for six months.

GameStop hasn't said when it will revive the program. As a peace offering, affected customers will also get to pick out any pre-owned game for free.
