"The Russian Ministry of Defense is investigating its civilian employee who mistakenly attached photos to a statement on the US-led coalition's interaction with the Islamic State militants in the area of Abu-Kamal", the military said in a statement.

It repeated the claim it was "irrefutable evidence that United States are actually covering Isis [IS] combat units to recover their combat capabilities, redeploy, and use them to promote the American interests in the Middle East".

The Russian Ministry of Defense had to delete its posts.

Another image purporting to show the same convoy in Syria was actually taken from a 2016 video published by Iraq's defence ministry, which said it was an Islamic State convoy fleeing Fallujah, Iraq, Conflict Intelligence Team investigators found.

IPhone X Face ID Fooled By A Mask
Even if everyone was thrilled about this extraordinary feature, some skilled people showed that this technology could be fooled. BKAV said it used a detailed scan to develop the mask, which took about five minutes to finish.

"British researcher Eliot Higgins of investigative site Bellingcat was among the first to find a YouTube clip of "Special Ops Squadron" showing that Russia's defense ministry shared a cropped screenshot as an "irrefutable" proof", evidenced most clearly by identical text appearing in both the video game footage and Moscow's photo of the Islamic State convoy.

Russian Federation recently cited stills from a video game as proof that the USA was working with ISIS before quickly receiving backlash and ridicule from those who recognized the images.

In the corner of the image, however, a few letters of the developer's disclaimer can still be seen: "Development footage".

"However, the American side has failed to answer the question asked by the Russian side: why the ISIS terrorists left Syria on combat vehicles with heavy armament were regrouping in the coalition-controlled territories and preparing for new attacks [.]", said the statement.

Iran Says Nuclear Deal 'Not Negotiable' Following Macron Visit To Region
The French leader alleged that it was " obviously is an Iranian missile", which "shows precisely the strength of their program".

Hours later, the ministry published an updated statement with a different set of images, which it also said proved their claims.

"So again, that is pretty consistent with what we have seen come out of Russian MOD as being baseless, inaccurate and completely false".

Coalition spokesman Col. Ryan Dillon called those claims, "about as accurate as their air campaign".
