SC women's basketball team declines White House invitation
On Thursday, head coach Dawn Staley said her team was extended an invitation by the White House but has turned it down. "As I've been saying since our practices for this season started, all of our focus is on the season ahead".

The president's tweet follows a recent interview with Mother Jones, in which Clinton claimed "there are lots of questions about its legitimacy" of last year's election. Hillary, go on with your life and try again in three years, "Trump said on his Twitter account, alluding to the 2020 presidential election".

Clinton has said she will not run for office again. She cited both Russian interference and voter suppression as "major contributors" to the outcome and called for an independent commission "to get to the bottom of what happened".

In the interview, Hillary had pointed towards the Russian meddling and the outcome it had in the USA elections.

"We have a slight disagreement about this", the former president said, speaking alongside the former secretary of State at an event celebrating the 25th anniversary of his 1992 presidential victory.

During the 2016 presidential debates, Clinton often derided then-candidate Trump for his comments about the election being rigged and possibly not accepting the results.
