  • Netflix trolls 'A Christmas Prince' die-hard fans, setting social media spinning

The Netflix US Twitter account sent out a anxious tweet on Sunday asking "A Christmas Prince" fans "Who hurt you?"

Meanwhile, Netflix Canada took it one step further, changing its Twitter display name to "Netflix 'Have You Seen A Christmas Prince?' Canada".

Netflix just called out fans of "A Christmas Prince" in the funniest way possible. However, many people are either unaware of such data collection practices or are indifferent about them, and thus are quite surprised when presented with the facts.

Now know when to get off a train or bus
According to a report from TechCrunch , Maps may soon get another significant function: real-time tracking on public transport. Google has been testing out the feature among a small group of users, with plans to launch it 'soon, ' TechCrunch reports .

Netflix has been compared to Big Brother after posting a "creepy" tweet in which it shared very detailed information about customers' viewing habits - while using it to rather cruelly poke fun at people for watching a Christmas movie.

"The privacy of our members' viewing is important to us".

Netflix doesn't often provide statistics about ratings or viewership, but the streaming service did reveal something interesting.

Chris Evans Invites Bullying Victim Keaton Jones To 'Avengers: Infinity War' Premiere
The video now has over 14 million views and over 200,000 comments on Facebook after it was shared. Cardi B , on the other hand, wanted to deliver fades to anyone who is bullying Jones.

-What's the punishment for creeping on people? How is this creepy when their library is public?,' wrote one user. Netflix has stream-shamed before, when they made the discovery that one unknown user had streamed Bee Movie 357 times over the last 12 months. The search query itself was probably anonymous as well: "find all movies that were played every day in december and # users of each, ' he added". Netflix didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on the reaction to the tweet, which has been retweeted about 66,000 times and liked 259,000 times and has drawn 4,000 replies.

The collection and processing of data on users is usually a part of the terms and conditions of signing up for services such as Netflix, but comes with legal responsibilities under the Data Protection Act.
