  • Feds reportedly spent $22M on mysterious UFO program

Few officials were even aware of the programme, and its existence has never been publicly acknowledged until now. Be prepared for your conspiracy-loving uncle to be extra insufferable this holiday season.

The Pentagon has admitted it spent tens of millions of dollars on a secret UFO investigation branch for five years.

The program produced documents that describe sightings of aircraft that seemed to move at very high velocities.

Bigelow is "currently working with NASA to produce expandable craft for humans to use in space", according to the NY Times. Reid earmarked most of the money for the program to Bigelow, who, through his company Bigelow Aerospace, used it to study material said to have come from "unidentified aerial phenomena", interview people who claimed physical after-effects from their encounters with UFOs, and talk to members of the military about their close encounters. However, reports indicate that the program, which put some of their designated funds towards an aerospace research company, has continued to operate clandestinely within the Pentagon.

Chick-fil-A opened on Sunday to feed stranded passengers in Atlanta
"All the hotels were completely booked out for about a 30-mile radius so my daughter and I slept on the nice, cold, hard floor". Mondays and the holiday breaks are the busiest times for Hartsfield-Jackson International, and this just made it worse.

One of the sightings investigated had been captured on videotape, released in August, showing a white oval object the size of a commercial plane as it was chased by a pair of Navy fighter jets off of San Diego in 2004, the Times said. "It was determined that there were other, higher priority issues that merited funding and it was in the best interest of the DoD to make a change", it said.

"In the end, however, I couldn't carry out that mission, because the department - which was understandably overstretched - couldn't give it the resources that the mounting evidence deserved", Elizondo said later in a statement. Elizondo and others maintain that despite the absence of government funding, the program has continued its research, with help from the Navy and Central Intelligence Agency.

Despite this, officials have, according to the reports, persisted in their investigations of UFO sightings.

Former Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) backed the Advanced Aerospace Identification Program after he met with government contractor Robert Bigelow, who builds spacecraft for the government and private sector. Pilots attempting to understand what they see can be heard in this video published by the Department of Defense, which, however, refuses to specify the date and location of the incident. And no one else in the U.S. Senate was allowed to know!

According to court records, all the charges against the 28-year-old, who was arraigned Sunday morning, involve domestic violence. Fulton fire officials said the dog fell through the Oswego River's ice Sunday afternoon, and a man and woman tried to help.

"There's a whole fleet of them", one exclaims.

One of the major officials of this project was Luis Elizondo who has now joined the "To The Stars Academy of Arts and Science" which is run by Blink-182's Tom DeLonge.

Elizondo was clearly a fan of AATIP too, and hasn't given up on UFO research.
