Los Angeles Rams' magical season met an abrupt demise at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons, and social media definitely didn't help ease the blow.

Don't forget that earlier in the season, it was an over the hill, out of the game Mike Martz who lobbed some fire towards the first time/first year head coach saying that the Rams hired a buddy for Goff.

Despite all the punchlines, the Rams hardly have reason to hang their heads. That trio alone already gives them an excellent long-term foundation for sustainable winning.

Death toll in terrorist attack in Kabul rises to 20 people
The deadly attack comes a week after 41 people were killed and 84 others injured in an IS attack that targeted Shiites in Kabul. President Ashraf Ghani late on January 4 called the attack "inhumane" and against the tenets of Islam.

The Falcons come into the Wild Card game as the sixth seed in the NFC. Would you be surprised if he had a three interception game?

If you were told last August the Saints would be NFC South champions after an 11-5 season, your money would've been on Drew Brees dropping another 5,000 yards to go along with at least 35 touchdowns. That 42-14 loss to the Falcons was a catalyst in the Rams' transformation from LA laughingstocks to NFC West champions, because coach Jeff Fisher was sacked the next day.

Devonta Freeman scored on a 3-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and led the Falcons' ground game with 66 yards. Atlanta has held opponents to less than 100 yards rushing in five of the last six games, surrendering just 84 yards per game on the ground over that span. The stats will show that Gurley ran the ball 14 times for 101 yards, but the Rams' talented back was kept out of the end zone and struggled in the passing game, catching four balls for 10 yards - despite being targeted 10 times.

Paladins is getting a battle royale mode called Battlegrounds
An alpha of Paladins' Battlegrounds is playable at this week's Hi-Rez Expo, and the full release is expected later in 2018. With Paladins already enjoying a healthy player base, this will probably do quite well if the community embraces it.

"It was actually my first year [in Atlanta], so I remember him really well", Quinn said. For a guy who had his size, he had exceptional ability to put his foot in the ground and accelerate out.

The Falcons couldn't muster much on offense during the drive but turned the Rams' miscue into three points when Matt Bryant booted a 29-yard field goal.

The Atlanta Falcons' Julio Jones, left, catches a touchdown pass in front of the Green Bay Packers' Damarious Randall during the second half of the NFC championship game Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, in Atlanta.

Paris Hilton engaged to "Leftovers" star Chris Zylka
The two have been linked since February 2017, when they took their relationship public on social media. She added: "So dedicated, loyal, loving & kindhearted".

The game between the Falcons and Rams will kick off at 8:15 EST and will be televised on NBC.
