The Cleveland Cavaliers suffered a huge blow.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love suffered a broken hand in Tuesday's game versus the Detroit Pistons, per Jason Lloyd of The Athletic.

According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com, the forward is expected to miss six to eight weeks with the injury. The Cavs have not been playing at the championship level we've grown accustomed to seeing in recent years.

West Brom close in on Daniel Sturridge loan from Liverpool
A late approach from Newcastle was on the table but it would appear that West Brom have been successful in securing his services. United were understood to be prepared to pay a loan fee of around £1.5million and also cover his £120,000-a-week wages.

Tuesday's hand injury will put Love's availability for the All-Star Game next month in jeopardy. "Winning is fun, so I guess you could say we're having more fun, at least the last two games".

In 47 games on the season, Love averaged 18.2 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists over 28.5 minutes per game.

The injury will force to Love to miss the All-Star game for the second straight year. "They got downhill in transition and just kind of laid the ball up a few possessions in a row, but it was a good thing we came to the huddle and just said to stick together, and we were able to have a run of our own".

Lakers proposed Jordan Clarkson for Avery Bradley trade
Bradley still remains one of the league's best perimeter defenders and is a career 37 percent shooter from the three-point line. The struggling and stumbling Detroit Pistons have made their starting shooting guard Avery Bradley , available in trade talks .

Love only played four minutes against the Detroit Pistons before being forced to the locker room. As a collective group, you've got to bring what Kevin does. All three of those percentages represent Love's most efficient season since joining the Cavaliers in a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves in August of 2014.

"Not just one guy's going to bring what he does because he's such a special player, an all-star caliber player".
