For his part, Khaled Qadoumi expressed gratitude to Iran for supporting Palestine and for its stances against the USA administration's move to recognize the city of al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of Israel.
"It is obvious that this animosity from the USA administration towards the Palestinians is unprecedented - with its unconditional support of Israel and its decision surrounding Jerusalem, and cutting its funding to the United Nations refugee agency [UNRWA]", said Hamad.
