"I'm grateful to [DC president] Geoff [Johns] and [Warners Picture Group president] Toby [Emmerich] and everyone who was so welcoming when I arrived, and so understanding when I. uh, is there a sexier word for "failed"?"

"Joss Whedon is finally of Batgirl".

TI ranks Pakistan 117 out of 180 countries on global corruption index
Moreover, the Corruption Perception Index 2017 also singled out India as one of the "worst offenders" in the Asia-Pacific region. The score remained the same as last year for Singapore while the 2017 score was a four point drop from the year before.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Whedon is stepping down from creating DC's solo Batgirl film.

Warner Bros. chiefs have yet to name a replacement for Whedon, who came to their rescue past year when he helped to complete reshoots for Justice League after original director Zack Snyder stepped down to mourn the death of his daughter. A white male taking on a female led superhero just wouldn't fly in today's climate, and Twitter would simply have a field day with every aspect of the making of this movie, especially after personal scandals rocked Whedon's world previous year.

Conte: Chelsea were close to flawless
Willian may have put in a man-of-the-match display but the Brazilian knows he has to maintain that level as Chelsea's season reaches a crucial stage.

Though Whedon's statement feels like the flawless example of why he isn't the right choice for the film - Joss, why are you trying to make failure sexy? In a statement, Whedon said it's because he couldn't figure out what to make the movie about. Since his appointment back in March, Whedon's sexist Wonder Woman screenplay leaked, leading many to worry what he would do to Batgirl. This means Whedon, who has a good relationship with DC overall, will have to look elsewhere for his next creative vision.

No new director has been announced for the project. With the overtly feminist messaging and marketing in and around Wonder Woman, Whedon's attachment to Batgirl seemed like an odd fit for some, especially when his feminist bona fides came under question by his ex-wife right around the start of the #metoo movement. Hopefully, it won't be too long before we see Batgirl on the big screen as part of the DCEU regardless of this pretty major bump in the road.
