Mizzou's Michael Porter Jr. will play in SEC Tournament

For the first time since the season opener, Michael Porter Jr will suit up and take the court for the Missouri Tigers when they open SEC men's basketball tournament play tomorrow against either Georgia or Vanderbilt.

Ranked as the No. 2 recruit in the 2017 class by 247Sports, Porter played just two minutes in Missouri's season opener against Iowa State. Porter's ability to put the ball in the basket from anywhere helped create all the notoriety, and that's what made the news of his surgery so upsetting.

Porter Jr., will not be in the starting lineup, but he's expected to come off the bench.
