Daniel Bryan cleared by WWE doctors to return to in-ring action

  • Daniel Bryan's title win at Wrestle Mania 30 is regarded as one of the best moments of WWE's recent history

Bryan had been sidelined since February of 2016 when he gave a "retirement" speech on Raw that didn't leave too many dry eyes in the house. While it's always been made clear that he'd never wrestle again, Bryan would often mention that his retirement was more a factor of the WWE's inability to clear him medically, meaning that once his contract was up he might eventually return to the ring elsewhere.

Per WWE: "Bryan underwent a full review of his medical history and received comprehensive neurological and physical evaluations independent of WWE". WWE medical director Dr. Joseph Maroon has also given a "Yes!" to Bryan to return to the ring.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 launches this August in the West
New minigames include Yakuza 0's Cabaret, something called Golf Bingo, plus the original arcade release of Virtual-On. It'll be a while before we see Yakuza 7 surface, as we still have yet to get Yakuza 6 and Yakuza Kiwami 2 this year.

Looking for something new? The match is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

As we all thought, those words became prophetic when he was attacked at the end of the show by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Although he has been the Smackdown general manager since the summer of 2016, Bryan was not allowed to compete or fight at all in WWE.

Bryan was beloved by fans for his technical skills, fiery personality and the fact he didn't look like a conventional wrestler.

Jaime Nava, captain of Spain, said: "I don't want to think that rugby has been prostituted to leave us out". Spain lost 18-10 in a match they needed to win to confirm their place at the 2019 Rugby World Cup .

The March 20 edition of WWE SmackDown was a solid show as a whole and did feature some very important moments, including news regarding the biggest news story to hit the WWE in a long time. He could wrestle a broom to a five-star show, nevermind another outrageously talented performer like Daniel Bryan. After the initial panic of "OH MY GOD DANIEL BRYAN IS BACK!" the sentiment quickly shifted to thinking about all the incredible matchups he can have with guys we've always said, "man, he'd be great in a match with Daniel Bryan".

He and Bryan tangled several times during their time on the circuit and they've clashed before in WWE, but this current incarnation of Cesaro is far more assured both in his character and his place with the fans.

To sell Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn being fired on SmackDown Live on Tuesday night, WWE has removed their one-on-one match that was scheduled for WrestleMania from the event listing page. Miz has mocked Bryan's inability to get cleared, and did so again Tuesday on Twitter. The now-cleared Bryan was quick to point out how effective his wife was in pushing him to do all he needed to return to his passion.
