Sixers' Embiid clears National Basketball Association concussion watch but out Monday

Philadelphia Sixers' Center Joel Embiid has cleared the NBA's concussion protocol.

The 76ers star has been ruled out for Monday's Game 2 matchup against the Heat despite clearing the NBA's concussion protocol, the team announced Monday (AEST).

The club is 9-0 without its All-Star center, who averaged 22.9 points, 11.0 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 63 games in the regular season.
