Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called presidential and parliamentary elections on June 24th, bringing them forward from November of next year. Erdogan past year narrowly won a referendum to change the constitution and create an executive presidency. "We came to the agreement that we should approach this early election positively".

A meeting in Ankara between Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and Bahceli on October 17 followed the rally.

The proposed constitution would grant more executive powers.

In Germany found a unique treasure of the Danish king
Treasure linked to the reign of 10th-century Danish King Harald Bluetooth has been dug up in northern Germany. He's also credited with uniting swathes of modern-day Norway, Germany, Sweden and Denmark under his rule.

He said that the country must make change to become an executive presidency.

The AKP would like to keep the state of emergency in place throughout the election cycle, though the detrimental effect it has had on the economy means the party would not want to sustain it beyond the vote.

"By calling snap elections for June, Erdogan is signaling that he believes his support, at least for the near future, has peaked". The vote resulted in a close victory for those in favor of the constitutional reforms.

'India expected to grow at 7.4% in 2018'
This year's unemployment has been forecast at 3.0 percent up from 2.9 last year with an outlook for 3.2 percent in 2019. The IMF stuck to its most recent world growth forecast of 3.9 per cent for both this year and next.

Bahceli stressed that the Nationalist Movement Party will not nominate a candidate in the presidential election in 2019.

Bahceli's small MHP party is expected to form an alliance with Erdogan's ruling AK Party in the parliamentary polls. Members of the HDP, including then two co-chairs, were detained over accusations of having links to the PKK.

There was also speculation over the participation of the newly formed Iyi Party, which is seen as a electoral potential threat to both the AKP and CHP.

Mr Erdogan, who has moved to further tighten his grip on politics since a failed coup attempt in 2016, needs a 51 per cent majority to be re-elected in the first round of the presidential election. The state-run outlet Anadolu News Agency reports that Erdogan's administration is seeking to double the number of Chinese tourists visiting the country and receiving exposure to Turkish culture - and spending their money in Turkey.
